Week #9 Readings (01.12.09-01.16.09)
This week’s sermon challenges us to establish spiritual checkpoints for our lives. The walls and gates of Jerusalem laid in ruins as Nehemiah arrived to inspect the situation of the city. Gates serve an important purpose they provide security to the inhabitants of a city. A gate-less city is open to attack by invading foes.
